Chamber to serve hamburgers/hot dogs Saturday
The Chamber of Commerce will be serving hamburger and hot dogs ahead of the High Plains Cruisers’ Burnin’ the Bricks cruise on Saturday.
They will be set up at the FirstBank Southwest parking lot on Francis Street side (the physical address of the bank is 300 W. Kingsmill). They will begin serving at 5 p.m. for $4/plate and proceeds benefit the Pampa Chamber of Commerce. Meals for first responders are free.
“We want to thank the High Plains Cruisers for allowing us to do this during their event. People can get dinner before the cruise and then enjoy the show,” Chamber board of directors president Brenda Guess said. “We haven’t been able to have any of the events we normally hold. We want people to know we are still here.”
Sponsors and donors for the event include McDonald’s, Flipz, Walmart, Pak-a-Sak, Hot Dog Custom Chips, B&G Equipment, Brandon’s Flowers, Chuck Schoovner, Culligan Water, United Supermarkets, Top Value Grocery, Guess Insurance and FirstBank Southwest.
