Getting ready for Burnin’ the Bricks on July 11
Members of the High Plains Cruisers are getting their cars ready for the 17th Annual ‘Burnin’ the Bricks’ Car Show to be held on Saturday, July 11 from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. on Cuyler Street in downtown Pampa.
An evening cruise will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. around the old Pampa “Drag.” Registration on Cuyler Street (Watch for signs) will be from 8 a.m. til 10 a.m. will be $25 for the show. Cruise registration will be $10 payable on the four comers of the Drag. So get your favorite car shined up and bring it out, even if you have to PUSH IT!
Cash drawings, Goody Bags and trophies for cars will be awarded during the day. Car Show T-Shirts, gifts and novelties will be available along with food vendors and the Coffee Shop (Coffee, sandwiches, etc.) Coney Island (Breakfast & Lunch), and Finley’s Fountain (breakfast and lunch), along with other downtown merchants will be open, so come on down to see all the beautiful cars, trucks and motorcycles and the colorful windows painted to depict the summer activities in Pampa.
Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic everyone is encouraged to practice social distancing and wear face masks if they would be more comfortable.
