Jason Rowell, 57, of Pampa, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 in Amarillo.

Celebration of Life memorial services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, July 31, 2020 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rick Pearson of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. The memorial service will be livestreamed at https://www.carmichael-whatley.com/page/live-streaming.

Jason was born on October 6, 1962 in Grapevine. His parents are Patricia Jackson Rowell and the late Clarence “Truman” Rowell. As a young boy his family moved to Pampa where he later attended school and currently resided.

Jason was a veteran of the Armed Services. He served from 1987 to 1995 as a Multichannel Communications Systems Operator. He was stationed at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Fort Hood of Killen, and Fort Gordon in Augusta, GA. Jason has been in the Oil/Gas industry with Midcoast Energy for the last 8 years.

Jason loved the outdoors and he found great enjoyment in camping and fishing. He also loved grilling and barbequing for family and friends. He took great pride in his cooking abilities. Jason and Rhonda fell in love and were married, December 6, 2019 in Dumas.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pampa.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Rowell of the home; mother, Patricia Rowell of Pampa; 3 sons, Jason Lane of Florida , Nathan Rowell and Tyler Rowell, both of California; 3 daughters, Phoenix Platt of New Braunfels, Brittney Spruell, Mackenzie Maldonado and wife Mary Lou, all of Amarillo; mother-in-law, Ann Warren of Dumas; 7 grandchildren; 1 sister, Teresia Knott and husband Willy; a brother, Donald Rowell; and loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.
