Roy R. Hoskinson, Jr. 69 of Miami passed away Friday, September 4, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, September 11, 2020 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Rusty Early, pastor at Mobeetie United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mr. Hoskinson was born June 28, 1951 in Hugoton, Kansas to Roy and Kay Hoskinson. He graduated from Pampa High School, attended Frank Phillips College in Borger and TSTI in Amarillo. Roy was a self-employed welder working with Southwest Contractors. He welded across the Texas Panhandle and the Great Plains. Roy married Lynn Kerfoot on June 17, 1996 in Bull Head City, Arizona. He loved the Texas Rangers, the Washington Redskins and enjoyed playing golf. He was a member of Briarwood Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn of the home; six children, Heath Hoskinson of Amarillo, Lindsey Grant and husband Allen of Amarillo, Shay Reinhardt and husband Ernie of Tucson, Arizona, Wayne Jamison of Tucson, Arizona, Heather Northcutt and husband Toby of Midland, and Holly Cloud and husband Ryan of Pampa; three brothers, William Hoskinson and wife Diane of San Diego, California, James Hoskinson of Fairfax, Oklahoma, and Wally Hoskinson and wife Lori of Ponca City, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren, A.J., Tori, David, Leandra, Coi, Kyle, Jace, Brennen, Brooklyn, Audrey, Brianna, and Jordan; and 4 great-grandchildren, Elena, Natalie, Shayla and William.
