Miami drops McLean 40-24

The Miami Warriors (1-1) knocked off the McLean Tigers (0-2) 40-24 on Friday evening.

The Warriors tallied 390 total yards, 302 of them on the ground, to Miami’s 291.

For McLean, Jacob Watson had a 55-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, a 50-yard touchdown run, a 20-yard touchdown run and hauled in a 28-yard touchdown pass from Keaton Helton.

In total, Watson had 104 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns and a two catches for 37 yards and score.

Helton had six carries for 71 yards and two catches for 58 yards.

The Warriors return to action on Friday when they host Guthrie. The Tigers will travel to Darrouzett on Friday. Both games are scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
