Pampa competes in Wildcat Relays last week

The following are the results from the Wildcat Relays Pampa High School competed in last week.

Varsity boys

The Pampa boys team won with a score of 187.5

In the 100-meter dash, Brock Ferguson (11.22 seconds) and Cornelius Landers (11.44s) finished second and third. In the 200-meter dash, Caleb Rich (23.27s) finished third. In the 400-meter dash, Edmar Hernandez (57.87) finished fourth. In the 800-meter run, Hernandez (2:21.85) finished third.

In the 1,600-meter run, Aiden Scruggs (5:43.28) finished fourth. In the 110-meter hurdles, Jamal Johnson (17.01s) finished first and Drew Davis (19.06s) finished sixth. In the 300-meter hurdles, Jamal Johnson (43.54s) finished second, Gavin Hudson (45.38s) finished fourth and Drew Davis (47.31s) finished sixth.

In the 4X100-meter relay, the team of Brock Ferguson, Cornelius Landers, Kraig Light and Kevin Sanchez (43.52s) won the event.

In the 4X200-meter relay, the team of Brock Ferguson, Jarron Giles, Kraig Light and Kevin Sanchez (1:32.25) won the event.

In the 4X400-meter relay, the team of Jamal Johnson, Kraig Light, Jessie Alvidrez and Kevin Sanchez (3:37.37s) won the event.

In the long jump, Jarron Giles (21’-1 1/4”) finished second and Kraig Light (20’-6 1/2”) finished third. In the triple jump, Jamal Johnson (40’-8 1/2”) and Jessie Alvidrez (38’-8”) finished fourth. 

In the high jump, Cason Floyd (5’-10”) finished second, Hayden Henson (5’-8”) finished fourth and Jake Thomas finished fifth (5’-6”).

In the shot pot, Brady Brotherton (38’-4 1/2”) finished third, Stacyn Cox (38’-0 3/4”) finished fourth and Francisco Estrada (37’-10 1/2”) finished fifth.

Varsity girls

The varsity girls team finished second with 162 points.

In the 100-meter dash, Hallie Sieck (12.38s) won the event followed by Justice Gaines (12.84s) who finished second. In the 400-meter dash, Marleyni Briseno (1:06.79) finished third.

In the 1,600-meter run, Lexi Maul (5:40.15) won the event.

In the 100-meter hurdles, Maciee Voss (17.34s) finished second. Voss won the 300-meter hurdles (50.74s).

In the 4x100-meter relay, Justice Gaines, Addison Smith, Kambry Smith, Hallie Sieck and (alternate) Georgie Osborne (50.78s) won the event.

In the 4x200-meter relay, Savannah Valentine, Abilen Carra, Kambry Smith, Hallie Sieck and (alternate) Georgie Osborne won the event (1:50.14).

In the 4x400-meter event, Trystan Kidd, Maciee Voss, Abilen Carra, Marleyni Brisnero and (alternate) Mary Zamora finished fourth (4.38.28). 

In the 3,200-meter run, Lexi Maul (11:39.87) won the event.

In the long jump, Kambry Smith (17’-5 1/2”) won the event while Savannah Valentine (16’-1”) finished second.

In the triple jump, Savannah Valentine (34’-8 1/2”) finished second and Hallie Sieck (33’-11”) finished third.

In the high jump, Kambry Smith (5’2”) finished second.

In the pole vault, Kayleigh Steen (8’) finished second.

JV Boys

As a team, the JV boys won with a score of 245 points.

In the 100-meter dash, Raven Olney (11.84s) won, Devon Chaney (12.15s) placed fourth.

In the 200-meter dash, Devon Chaney (24.99s) and Jorge Brito (25s). In the 400-meter dash, Jose Lerma (56.72s) placed second and Ebner Rojas (57.11s) placed third.

In the 800-meter run, Jorge Brito (2:18.93) won the event, followed by Jose Lerma (2:29.43) in second and Nathan Solorzano (2:24.65) finished fourth.

In the 1,600-meter run, Samael Munoz (5:42.52) placed second, Nathan Solorzano (5:48.14) placed third and Brenton Stowers (5:59.45) placed fifth.

In the 110-meter hurdles, Joseph L’Esperance (19.65s) finished second and Austin Brice (20.59s) finished third.

In the 300-meter hurdles, Rhett Elliff (44.53s) won the event while Jaden Hinshaw (51.22s) finished fourth and Joseph L’Esperance (51.88s) finished fifth.

In the 4X100-meter relay, the team of Christian Kane, Raven Olney, Micah Teague and Jaden Wagner (46.47s) won the event. In the 4X400-meter relay, the team of Ebner Rojas, Jose Lerma, Micah Teague and Jaden Wagner (3:52.78) won the event.

In the 3,200-meter run, Samael Munoz (12:45.46) finished second and Brenton Stowers (13:49.59) finished fifth.

In the long jump, Christian Kane (19’-1 1/4”) finished second.

In the triple jump, Jaden Wagner (40’-2 1/2”) finished first and Jaylon Burnley (37’-4”) finished second.

In the high jump, Jaylon Burnley (5’-6”) finished second and Bryson Murrack (5’-2”) finished fourth.

In the pole vault, Jaden Wagner (10’) won the event.

In the shot put, Andres Cervantes (39’) won the event, Fabian Enciso (38’) finished second and Angel Monarrez (34’-10 1/2”) finished fourth.

In the discus, Maddox Nieto (112’-4”) finished first and Andres Cervantes (100’-10”) finished second.

Girls JV

The girls junior varsity team finished third with 68 points.

In the 100-meter dash, Mariah Godwin (13.69s) finished third and Kimi Light (14.03s) finished fifth.

In the 1,600-meter run, Georgina Silva (6:51.84) finished fourth.

In the 4X100-meter relay, Kimi Light, Sykora Guy, Jazmine Alonzo, Mariah Godwin, (alternate) Gracie Hapeman and (alternate) Kloe Light placed third (55.75s). 

In the 4X200-meter relay, Kimi Light, Sykora Guy, Jazmine Alonzo, Mariah Godwin, (alternate) Kloe Light and (alternate) Sara Vernon won the event (2:02.21).

In the long jump, Kimi Light (14’-4 1/4”) placed third.

In the discus, Kellie Mae Davis (69’9”) placed second.

In the shot put, Bailey Collier (30’-10 1/2”) finished second.

In the 3,200-meter run, Georgina Silva (15:26.09) finished fifth.
