Nita Massey, the Nurse Administrator for Wheeler Nursing and Rehabilitation since 2017, spoke about which insurance the facility accepts.
“We take Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and private pay,” Massey said.
In addition to medical care, residents can enjoy beauty shop services, daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals along with snacks, transportation services, and daily activities like bingo and cards. With each holiday that comes up, Wheeler Nursing & Rehabilitation has holiday-themed celebrations to keep residents and their families entertained.
With around 50 people on the staff caring for 30 residents, Massey expressed excitement for the upcoming holiday festivities.
“We are looking forward to the 4th of July,” Massey said. “It’s a big celebration in Wheeler. We are hoping the residents can enjoy it.”
Massey expressed her sincerest appreciation for those who have supported her throughout her time working at the facility.
“I thank the owners for trusting in me to run the facility and to take care of things,” Massey said. “I love working with the residents.”
