Just hear those sleigh bells jingling in summer as the Pampa Chamber of Commerce prepares for Christmas in July as part of the News Channel Ten Summer Celebration tour. The event will take place from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 19th at Von Brunow Park. Festivities will include the Celebration of Lights, an ugly t-shirt competition, a hot cocoa stand, and a visit from Santa. The Chamber is hoping to make this a big, fun-filled day for the entire family and is asking the business community to get involved by thinking big as well with Christmas-themed window displays, sales, special activities, or winter-themed meal options for that day.
Amarillo’s News Channel Ten will also be making a stop at the event to feature Pampa as a stop on their Summer Celebration Tour. It’s not too late to get involved, either by making a donation, setting up a booth or trailer, or organizing an activity.
