Lady Harvesters Improve to 3-0 with Rout Over Perryton

After defeating West Plains and Randall, the Pampa Lady Harvesters traveled up North to take on the Perryton Rangerettes.  This game was all Pampa from the start and they would end the day with a 29-4 win over the Rettes.

Pampa scored two runs in the first, eight runs in the second, ten runs in the third and nine runs in the fourth inning, while holding Perryton to three runs in the third and one run in the fifth.

Leading the way for Pampa was Kynleigh Kirby,  Kirby was 3 for 3 with a home run and 2 singles and 3 RBI’s.  Briley Daniels was 2 for 3, with a home run (her first of the year) and a double and 4 RBI’s, while fellow Junior Cassidy Stanhope was also 1-4 with a home run and 4 RBI’s.  McKinley Daniels was 2-4, with a triple and single. Kassie Arnzen was 2 for 6 with a double and single. Cambree Dyer was 2 for 4 with a double and a single and 2 RBI’s.    Carsyn Hunt scored three runs, after walking three times and getting hit by a pitch.  Michelle Gallegos was also 2 for 4 for the Lady Harvesters,  Hallie Reynolds was 1 for 1, Ella Hudson was 1 for 3, Haili Newton was on base twice and scored 2 runs and Payton Gowin also walked and scored a run for Pampa. 

Kirby started in the circle for Pampa going two innings, giving up no runs, no hits and five strikeouts and one walk.  Michelle Gallegos pitched the final three innings, giving up four runs, on six hits, while striking out two and walking none.

All in all, Pampa cranked out a total of fifteen hits, eight of those extra base hits, including the three home runs. Pampa batters were patient at the plate drawing ten walks and while eight batters were hit by pitches. 

With win Pampa moves to 3-0 in district play to stay atop the standings.  Pampa will host Hereford Wednesday at noon at Lady Harvester Field.  Hereford currently sits at 2-0 in district play.
