Toby Dawn Francis Aleman, 45, of Skellytown, passed away on September 6, 2023, with her family by her side. A celebration of life memorial service will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at the Freedom Fellowship Church in Canyon, TX with Pastor Darren Dye, senior pastor, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory. Toby was born on December 30, 1977, in Roswell, NM to Terry and Debbie McCraw. As a young girl her family moved to Amarillo where she would grow up and attend school. After high school, Toby started her family and became a mother of three boys who were her pride and joy. After her sons became older, she entered the workforce and followed her passion with helping children working as a teacher’s aide at Pleasant Valley Elementary. Toby was a talented woman who enjoyed the arts working with crafts and drawing. She also was a woman who liked to make sure everything was in order and was always trying hard to keep everything clean. Above all, Toby will be remembered as a loving mother, and a supportive daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents, Ruthena and Dub Collums; and a nephew, Addison McCraw. Toby is survived by her three sons, Cameron Francis and wife Priscila of Amarillo, Caleb Francis and Jadorie of Skellytown, and Cyler Francis and Kimberly of Skellytown; mother, Debbie McCraw of Skellytown; brother, Jason McCraw and wife Stacie of Amarillo; half-brother, Kenneth McCraw of Oklahoma; uncle, Randy Collums of Amarillo; cousin, Michelle Collums of Smithville; nieces and nephews, Xavier Evans, Amber Cox, Austtin McCraw, Annsleigh McCraw, Averilynn McCraw, Annastaca McCraw, Angellica Parish; and other extended family.
