Ray Aderholt, 98, Pampa, passed away on Feb. 16, 2021 in Pampa.
Services will be Monday, Feb. 22 at 1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Pampa with Elder James Baker and Elder Steve Porter officiating.
Interment will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Borger with Brown Funeral Director in Borger aiding in the services. The pallbearers are Don Aderholt, Darel Aderholt, Terry Aderholt, Mike Stevens, Mike White and Kaleb Snelgrooes.
Ray Aderholt was born on May 26, 1922 in Oswalt, Okla. to Lawrence Samuel and Virginia (Wood) Aderholt.
He married Evelyn (Buck) Aderholt on Oct. 26, 1940 in Texola, Okla. Evelyn passed away in 2019.
Ray was an electrician in the petroleum industry and served in the U.S. Army and fought in World War II.
He is survived by 3 sons: Keith Aderholt and wife Martha of Arlington, Texas, Pat Aderholt and wife Nita of Pampa, Texas and Steve Aderholt and wife Judy of Amarillo, Texas and siblings Reta Grayson of Wheeler and Armenda Jones of Amarillo. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his precious wife, Evelyn; a son, Gary; a grandson, Clay; a great grandson, David; a granddaughter, Pamela Leigh;2 daughter-in-laws: Carole Whatley and Carol Lynn Aderholt; 6 sisters: Doris Hays, Avis Allen, Lois Williams, Lavois Anderson, Estelle Topper and Jo Nell Grayson and a brother Gerald “Ting” Aderholt.
