Ruby Foote, 100, formerly of Pampa died Thursday, June 25, 2020 in Wheeler.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Monday, June 29, 2020 in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor of the Central Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. 

Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Due to the Coronavirus, we are only allowing 5 people to enter the funeral home at a time.

If attending the service, please be prepared to maintain social distancing practices.

Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.

Ruby Foote (Granny) was born the February 15th, 1920 and was the 2nd of 7 children born of Hugh and Eunice Rushing White. She grew up on a farm in Amit County Mississippi. In 1942 she married the love of her life Loyd Wilton Foote. To this union were born three daughters Jo, Glenda and Kim. They eventually moved to the oilfields of west Texas and in 1956 the family settled in Pampa, TX. Ruby was busy making a home with “Foote” and the girls. She lost her beloved husband in 1968. She went to work at a Central Baptist Church in the nursery department where she worked for over 40 years, helping to instill Godly instruction and love into many young lives. 

Granny kept a close connections with her family from the South making almost all of the yearly family reunions. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, Granny and friend to so many. 

In November 2019, Granny became part of the community of the Wheeler Nursing Home and Rehab where she soon stole the hearts of all with her stories of life on the farm in Mississippi. Throughout all the stages of her life, she never gave up her zest for life.

Preceded by her parents, her sisters Bill Jacobs, Dell Turk and June Rome, her brothers Sam White and Bobby White.

Survived by her brother Charlie White of Independence Louisiana. Her daughters Jo Daniels and husband Jerry of Pampa, TX. Glenda Weatherly of Wheeler, TX. Kim Snell and husband Craig of Canyon, TX. Three Granddaughters, Michele McCutchen and husband John of Katy, TX. Lindsey Thiessen and husband Kent of Elk City, Ok. Sheridan Frazier and husband Waylon of Amarillo, TX. Four Grandsons Lee McCasland and wife Amy of Edmond, Ok. Layne McCasland and wife Taylor of Leesville, TX. Eric Snell and wife Michelle of Amarillo, TX. Kyle Snell and wife Cristin of Amarillo, TX. A host of Great Grand Children and even one Great, Great Grandson. And her beloved friends Bill and Paula Gilreath of Pampa, TX, and Marli Street Murphy and husband Ryan of Dallas, TX.
