Burnin’ The Bricks 2024

One of the most anticipated events of the year, Burnin’ The Bricks, officially kicked off the summer this past weekend when folks from miles around came to Downtown Pampa to showcase their prized vehicles.

Classic cars, vintage trucks and modern muscle cars lined Cuyler street, their colorful coats of paint glistening in the afternoon sun.

Admirers and spectators walked the bricked street to take a look at the bright beauties, stopping at the many local vendors who joined the event and doing a little shopping in the businesses that had opened their doors for the day.

Later on in the evening, spectators had the opportunity to see those vehicles in action-from all participating vehicles and motorcycles going for a slow cruise in a parade-style fashion to others performing burnouts, disappearing in a cloud of smoke with the applause of the spectators behind them.

High Plains Cruisers, who hosts the Burnin’ The Bricks event every year, recently awarded two scholarships to Pampa High School graduates, Joelee Brogdin and Jacob Hoover for $2,500 each.
