Judy was born on November 12, 1940, to George and Birdie Hancock in Pampa.

As a young girl, Judy and her family moved often with her father’s work in construction. They did eventually move back to Pampa where she graduated school.

While in high school, she would find her true love, Derrel Davis, and they married on October 31, 1958. Shortly after they married, they started their family, having their three children.

After the children entered school, she began working for Grandview Hopkins Independent School District where she helped with the bus transportation and the kitchen for several years.

After her tenure in education, Judy found enjoyment with photography and painting. She also made sure to stay connected with many of her former classmates and tried hard to help put gatherings together.

Judy also always wanted to have and host all of her family during holidays and other get-togethers. Judy was a patient, kind, and thoughtful woman who was an excellent wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Nikki Guenther; nieces, LouAnn, and Kandy; and by a sister, Jeri Mitchell.
