The Pampa High School tennis team played in the Randall tennis tournament this weekend and saw some great success. PHS finished 6th as a team out of 16 teams. Everyone played hard and contributed to the team success.
Individual results: In boys doubles, the team of Mason Bagwell and Terry Ketchum had a great tournament. They went 4-1, finishing in 3rd, and having a big win for 3rd place against Randall. In boys singles, Kaden Brown also went 4-1, finishing in 5th.
In girls singles, Madi Sloan played some great tennis. Sloan finished 9th, also going 4-1.
In boys doubles, the team of Eric Vick and Jorge Estrada went 3-2, finishing in 6th.
In mixed doubles, Ruth Gaite and Brandon Martinez went 3-2, finishing in 12th. The teams of Michael Sims and Brookelyn Sirmans in mixed doubles, McKenzie Woods and Samantha Alderete in girls doubles, Isabella Wright in girls singles , and Tobias Thompson all went 1-2 playing some good tennis.
