Week of Oct. 3 - Oct. 7

October has been awesome thus far for Pampa High School. Lady Harvester Volleyball took down #7 ranked West Plains on Tuesday in front of an awesome crowd. Our student section nearly filled the bottom section of seating from the far north end of the gym to mid court. It was great to see them support their peers. Harvester Tennis capped their fall team tennis season at Randall. Our counselors hosted an awesome College & Financial Aid Night where our juniors and seniors got an opportunity to meet with representatives from post-secondary education, trade schools, financial aid information, and military options. The turnout was awesome by our kiddos and we even were graced with visitors from Fort Elliot, Lefors, and McLean. Thank you to everyone who helped with this, especially Kathy Gomez for leading the charge. National Honor Society got to induct the next wave of Harvesters into their ranks as we welcomed 33 new inductees. Harvester Football continued their winning ways and started off district by handedly defeating Hereford in the rain. Shout out to our band and cheerleaders for braving the elements and cheering us on to victory! Our Boys Harvester Golf Team travelled south to Plainview and finished second. Sawyer Burleson had the second best round of the day. This is a four day weekend and we are excited to welcome staff and students back Wednesday as we host the PSAT for our Sophomores and Juniors.
