Carol Lee, 81, of Pampa, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 in Amarillo.

The visitation room will be available on Friday, July 5, 2024 and the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 5:00-7:00PM. 

Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Carol was born October 9, 1942 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was raised in Kellerville and graduated from McClean High School in 1960. 

In 1963, she married O.K. Lee, Jr, and they have celebrated over 61 years of marriage. Carol was longtime member of Central Baptist Church in Pampa.

For over 32 years, she taught and instructed water aerobics at the Pampa Community Youth Center. Carol made many friends during her time there and she loved leading. She never met a stranger and enjoyed striking up a conversation. Carol also crocheted afghans and was a collector of bears. She worked hard in her yard and flower bed to make it beautiful.

Carol loved her family and took wonderful care of each one. She enjoyed keeping up with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Most importantly, she took great care of her best friend and husband, O.K.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Sue Harrison; and a brother, Gary Gray.

Survivors include her husband, O.K. Lee, Jr. of the home; two daughters, Debra Denise Kennedy of Wichita Falls and Connie Renee Oliver and husband Thomas of Jacksonville, North Caroline; son, Clayton Eugene Lee and wife Dusty Dawn of Runaway Bay; sister, Mollie Raney of Amarillo; brother, Steve Gray of Amarillo; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
