The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 7, 2024 from 6:00-7:30 PM.

Danny was born December 18, 1956 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to John and Betty McGuire. He graduated from Pampa High School in 1975 and attended West Texas State University for short time before returning to Pampa.

While he was in school, he worked for his father at McGuire Motors to learn his work ethic. When Danny returned to Pampa, he went to work at Hawkins Communications and eventually became partner and then sole owner. He continued to work there until his passing. Danny also was owner of McGuire Tower Company.

Over the years, he was involved in Pampa Optimist Youth Club where he coached and served on the board.

On November 9, 2018, he married Tambra Baird. They loved each other unconditionally and ultimately found fulfillment in being together, no matter the obstacle. They enjoyed spending time at their lake house at Lake Greenbelt.

Danny had a passion for riding dirt bikes, loved fireworks, and Halloween. He loved to tell stories and playing jokes on people.

Family was everything to him. He loved to follow his grandchildren around to all of their events and was known for yelling “YEAHHH” really loud.

Danny taught his children, when they were growing up, to cherish the little things in life that matter; being present, showing up, being kind, and having fun.

He is preceded in death by his father; two grandchildren, Reese Crawford and Everly Rogers.

Survivors include wife, Tambra of the home; daughter, Lacey Jaye Crawford and husband Josh of Pampa; three sons, Daniel Jad McGuire and wife Grace of Celina, John Trey Rogers, III and wife Gina of Pampa, and Hal Ferrell Rogers and wife Jenny of Ropesville; mother, Betty McGuire of Pampa; two brothers, Steve McGuire of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Rick McGuire of Pampa; grandchildren, Landry Crawford, Lyla Jaye Crawford, Henry McGuire, Ozzy McGuire, Clayton Rogers, Carson Rogers, Allie Rogers, and Zoe Rogers; his long time secretary and friend, Kay Couch; his favorite dog, Claire; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
