Oscar Dennis Rojas, age 47, of Spearman, Tx, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024.
Oscar was born on April 21, 1977 in Spearman, Tx to Oscar Rojas Sr and Dennis Peralta Rojas.
A memorial in his honor will be on Saturday September 28, 2024 at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church located at 810 W 23rd, Pampa, Tx at 2:00p.m. with Father Guadalupe Mayorga officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman, Tx.
Oscar was a former Deputy Sherriff in Hutchinson and Gray County, as well as a Peace Officer in Spearman, Stinnett, Borger and Perryton many years prior.
His career in law enforcement was marked by years of developing deep personal connections with all residents of the communities he served within. Those who knew Oscar knew that he served with pride, dignity and a devotion of peace where he could influence it.
In years between law enforcement, he spent time in Washington D.C advising on legislation for Congressman Thornberry. He also assisted as a Campaign Manager for local political figures and a general point of contact for all those in need of his words of wisdom which were abundant and always tailored to a specific need of all.
He was loved dearly by all his family and noted for his sense of humor and intelligence.
Oscar was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Rojas Sr.
Oscar was survived by his wife, Adrian Rojas, son, Judge Rojas, daughter Rory Rojas, all of Pampa, and 3 step-children. His mother, Dennis Rojas, and sister Denise Rojas both of Spearman, as well as numerous extended family members.
