It’s been a busy summer for those kiddos who stay faithfully involved in the sports they love, and that dedication pays off in bronze, silver and gold, as well as knowing that they made their community proud.
Track Coach Talyn Pointer is beaming with excitement as he sends off three of his athletes to the State competition in Brownsville next weekend.
Brylee Thompson in the 14U division will perform the high jump, Brayden Hester in the 8U division will perform the 400 meter dash and Paisley Jackson in the 10U division will perform the 100 and 200 meter dash.
This will be the second time that Paisley qualified for state when she competed in the 8U division where she qualified in the 50 meter dash, 100 meter dash and the long jump.
