Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Upgrades Coming to US 60

$5.7 million project includes construction of sidewalks and crosswalks

PAMPA – Starting Monday, Oct. 21, crews will begin work on a $5.7 million safety improvement project on US 60 in Pampa from FM 282 to Ball Park Drive (see pictured map below). Improvements to ADA fixtures, crosswalks, sidewalks, drainage, and signage upgrades as well as bike lane additions are expected to improve the connectivity, mobility, and safety on this stretch of US 60 for the traveling public.

The project is expected to be completed in Nov. 2025. During construction, drivers can expect various lane closures on this roadway. We appreciate the public’s patience as we work to deliver them a quality but most importantly a safe product.

Please drive with caution and reduce speed through all work zones. All projects are subject to change due to weather, emergency work and other unexpected events. Allow yourself enough time to safely reach your destination if these closures affect your commute. For the most up-to-date road conditions, visit www.drivetexas.org.
