On Sunday, December 31, the VFW held their first annual New Year’s Bash and welcomed 2024 with fantastic music, champagne and good vibes.
Event coordinators, Rowdy Elrod and Jeremy Cossio, provided guests with an unforgettable experience that will be looked forward to year after year.
VIP guests were served a prime rib dinner before the main event and enjoyed free drinks throughout the night, including a complementary bottle of champagne per table at midnight.
All guests got to cut a rug on the dance floor with the live music from Ty Blackburn and Chad Miller and The Good Fortune, a group of talented musicians that Rowdy intends to invite for future events.
A raffle was also held during the event as well as an auction at the end of the night that included an item that was won during the raffle and donated back to be auctioned to raise more money for the VFW.
Rowdy and Jeremy wish to thank all the volunteers who helped decorate and serve during the momentous occasion, especially to Maddie Smith and Shyann Hudson, some of the Lefors cheerleaders who came to help, and Chris Lee, a veteran and member of the VFW.
They would also like to thank everyone who came out to support the VFW and for making the first of many exciting events this year a success.
